Week of April 24

This week we got a script done for our next narrative film.  Brandon has been working on his own project on the side, and we will be assisting once we finish our current project.  We have concepts and ideas for our next films and all we need to do is get our film set.  This coming week, I will have to go out and find a shop that would be willing to allow us to film in their store.  We don’t want to get sued or something.  Our next film shouldn’t be too difficult, we don’t have to deal with any nighttime scenes, meaning lighting shouldn’t be an issue.

Week of April 10th

This week we started the whole filming process.  Most of the time we spent working together was used figuring out the logistics of each shot.  We wanted to make sure to have everything set up already so that when we actually do shoot, we won’t run into many problems and e won’t have to be set back very far.  Other than that, we plan on filming again over the weekend to get a nice shot while it’s actually dark outside.  We will be filming late, but that also means we don’t really have to follow a schedule, as we can work as far into the night as we have to.  We plan on finishing the film in about two weeks with all the filming and editing we’re going to need.  Unless we manage to get everything shot in one day, we’re going to be working on this film for a while.  We are also still working on other movie ideas and we have a concept for the next film we plan to make.

Week of April 3

We’ve managed to work out a lot of the kinks in our film.  We have a decent screenplay and storyboard to work off of, and we constantly have more ideas flowing in.  We’ve made a few minor changes in the script since we finished, but other than that it was pretty solid.  We are now figuring out when we can film considering this weekend is a holiday and some of us may be busy next week.  We just have the big parts to do: the filming and the editing.
