Today
I was happily informed that I shall, hence forth, be a permanent resident at
the London. Oh, I’ve never been
happier. After all that I’ve been
through it seems that I am finally accepted. I am home.
Treves, one of my only friends, gave me beautiful box and inside was an
array of grooming utensils. Why,
it was a pleasant surprise and I’d say that I am truly grateful for everything. Without Treves I’d still be with Bytes,
that wretched man. Now I am
visited by all manner of aristocratic gentry rather than the many crude
onlookers at the carnival. I’m happy
here and now that I know this is my home, I feel safe and secure. Perhaps, I may someday be cured, if
there is hope for me to be a part of London society, I will gladly wait an
eternity. Still, I wish that I may
someday see my mother again, so she may see how I’ve grown up and what I’ve
made of myself.
Well written! You caught his refined, English manner of speech very well!
